Just amazing work. I'm continually fascinated with your linework. One comment though. At first glance I didn't get the angle of the bike. It took me some time to get how it was lying because there was just white behind it. Not that I have a problem looking at your stuff for long periods of time.

Keep inspiring me and I'll stay watchin'.

You've got a wonderful style. Very pleasing. Did you choose to avoid shadowing under the bike? She's casting one, but the bike just sorta looks like it's floating. Not a major deal, just wondering. Looks great anyway.

Great work, both on the illustration itself and the composition! Especially on the bike.

Couple of minor things... I think the perspective is a little bit off on the pylon she's leaning on (the top) and also with the top of the airpump box... If the curb cut is an accurate guide.

Otherwise, it's a keeper!

She sat down, took off her cycling goggles and chilled out. It was a good day to stop and think about stuff. Plus, no one else was at the air pump right then.
China has lost a large percentage of cyclists over the last 20 years. Even driving a rubbish car is a seen as a sign of higher status. More people worldwide should ride bikes. Then they could meet up at the air pump and talk.
I'd open an air pump cafe with inflatable seats and serve frothy hot chocolate milk.

hehe . .. not really what I was thinking when I saw the title on my dev. watch list. I think I've been watching too many animes by Myazaki... I thought it would be an air pump for a giant blimp or something .... ^.^ I'm sad, I know... Nice work!

Wow. If you're not already working for Disney, Gainax, or some other comparably famous animation house, you really oughtta look into it. You've got talent to spare, my friend, I'm envious.

This is just sick. Your one of my all time favorite artist....top 10 most def. Chris(kweli) was hanging out with you guys in San Francisco earlier this year and dropped me a signed copy of your sketch book, and I never ever do character designs without next to my desk. I can't believe someone this talented isn't one of the most famous artist on earth!!! anyway....good work ;}

Hey Alina. These are amazing; I saw the page over at your blog, but wanted to see this closer!

This is for Low Orbit correct? Did you change your style for that book? because the other page you submitted looked more cartoony.
