Artist's Comments
Murgoff is a member of an endangered race of airborne messengers and carriers, distant cousins of the renowned Hippogriff. Unfortunately, Murgoff was born with decrepitly tiny wings due to the air being contaminated with exhaust gasses and could be of no use to his society. Consequently, he has taken up to reading and was three quarters through Kant's Critique of Pure Reason. He wasn't very keen on me drawing him, though. I asked if he wanted to hitch a ride on Air Canada but it seems he is afraid of heights.
