Gorey rocks. I have all three Amphigorey volumes, as well as a couple of rare early printings of the individual books.

I read "The Gashlycrumb Tinies" when I was just a wee lad, about the age of the characters. Very traumatizing... all except for "J", because I had no idea what the hell "lye" was.

Strangely enough, though, I did know about "ennui". Go figure.
